Sometimes, when you have a wound, you have to re-open it to make sure it's healing properly. It may look and feel fine, as your tissue slowly binds it-self together with the magical forces God gave to our cells, but there could still be dirt under the surface. You are obviously ready to heal, but you have to make sure all the garbage is out, or else your seemingly fine old wound will turn green and hurt like crazy. If you leave that bit of infection it, it will fester, and all that work your cells did to heal you, will have gone to waste.

The deeper the wound, the more times it must be cleaned. You can't ignore it, and just let your body do it's thing. It is better to deal with the pain of cleaning, than to deal with loss of limb.

Some wounds go really deep. I know mine do. Sometimes we need the help of other to clean out all the gunk. To many of us try to clean it ourselves and end up missing things we cannot see. It can be a long and painful process. But yes, it is absolutely.

And yes I am talking about the 'wounds of life' not a 'flesh wound'

And yes I google image seared 'infected cut' for some dramatic effect but because nauseated by the search results.

So here is to Philadelphia, and my friends, and all the wound cleaning they are helping me with.

Hopefully I will be good as new when it is time to return to Florida.

Well I am in philly now. I love it! I am sure as soon it gets really cold, I will hate it. But for now, I love the fact that I wear sweaters, and keep the window open all day. The fresh air does wonders. My apartment is small but I don't mind because I am sharing it with Jenna and we are used to each other. I missed Bones and Fringe. I caught the office. Grey's Anatomy is on the same time as the office. I will prob watch Grey's at regular time and then watch the Office on hulu. I have a lot of free time right now. I am debating wether or not to get a job... I would like to volunteer at some places. I am planning on job searching all this week. But no rush. I do need to buy a GPS though. The streets are rather confusing. I am excited to Visit with Shawna, Jaime, Justin, my family and all of my other friends in the area. I am excited to be so close.

I am watching "When Harry Met Sally" I have never seen it. I like it so far. I am not into romantic movies, but I like the older ones. It's not really "older" but its not one of those new movies without half naked people in totally unrealistic relationships. And Meg Ryan is from Bethel. So.. I guess thats cool.

I should be unpacking. My hangers don't fit. I mean, they fit in the closet, but when the door shuts it hits the hangers and they get all crooked. ghetto. Most of my stuff is in it's place. I did not bring a lot though.

Tonight I am making cupcakes. We have a mini-fridge and so we need to shop a few times a week for fresh food, so I need to buy some eggs.

I am sitting here now. On our busted futon. listening to kids ride their bikes outside. It is nice. I like it here. I hope i can make some more friends. I am excited for church tomorrow. They own a cafe so I am going to volunteer there.

If you don't know just how you feel,
Don't say hose sweet things
That you know I'd wanna hear
If you don't know just what to think,
Then put your thoughts away
And keep them out of reach
Haley don't hurt me
If you don't know
I could have moved on a long time ago
You're undecided, your eyes do show
Haley don't hurt me if you don't know

I went to orlando on tuesday with some co-workers to take care of some financial stuff for one of them. We came across another Family Christian Store and decided to go in. That is when we discovered our boss is a mess nazi. I feel like our store is the role model for what other stores should be. ALL of our t-shirts get folded every night. Things are straightened and dusted allll the time. It's crazy. So we came back and told him. He told us that he's got a good group of workers who he can trust to have a good store. I said... a group of good workers? Let's think about this.... so he said your right, we have...
* a 50 year old angry going through divorce lady
* a pregnant girl in the witness protection program who doesn't believe in God
* a drunk hippy
* a happy-go-lucky girl in love with a man who lives in Africa
* a single dancing lawyer mom
* a done with high-school bum
* a psychiatrist
and me
the cynical nomadic gypsy.

and the mess nazi boss

i work with crazy people
